Welcome to ascendence guild

THE LAST WEBSITE WE WILL EVER NEED!

Ascendence is a hardcore raiding guild with a light raiding schedule. We raid three nights a week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday. Raid times are from 8pm to 12 am, sometimes going to midnight, with invites starting at 7:30.

Officers are William, Gentrag, Ryanseacrest, and Mordsyth, Zelashizacht, Desecration if you wish to contact one of them for more information.

Hello there denizens of Eonar. Ascendence (Spelling?) is looking to swell our ranks of internet dragon slayers. If you are good at stabbing pixels over the internet perhaps you should consider joining our merry band of raiders as we journey across the land liberating Azeroth from tyrannical computerized images. With a fairly light raiding schedule (3 days a week, 12 hours a week), you may also even have time to socialize with beings that physically exist. Sound too good to be true? Perhaps, but if you don't join you'll never get to see our treasure chest of hot women - real life women.

Uluduar progress: 13/14 + 2/9 (4 tower and Heartbreaker + Freya 1add)
Coliseum progress: 5/5

Raiding

First and foremost, we are a progression minded guild. However, due to our "light" raiding schedule we have to be efficient raiders. So, while we may not obtain server firsts, we certainly do not run into many encounters where we are banging our heads against a wall for hours. Having fun is also important, but as a progression minded raiding guild, we find that fun often comes from efficient raiding.

Our raid nights are Tuesday Wednesday and Sunday from 8 pm (7:30 invites) to 12:00am. ALL TIMES IN EASTERN (US).

We've cleared Ulduar 25/10 man (With the exception of Algalon). We have cleared TOC 25 and are working towards Heroic TOC 25.

The guild has picked up a lot of steam within the past month in terms of progress and we are looking to continue on this positive trend, but in order for us to do so we need skilled recruits.

Loot

We run an officer loot council. Loot is based on three main critera (Order of importance from top to bottom):

1) Attendance
2) Date of most recent rewarded loot - Priority given to players who haven't gotten loot for weeks opposed to someone who has just gotten something recently.
3) Level of upgrade - What item are you upgrading and how much of an upgrade is it compared to other players.

Other factors come into play as well, but for the most part these 3 are the main points.

What we expect from you:
Non-troublesome players - The value of time varies from person to person. A raid requires at least 25 people to put aside times in their own schedules, and we believe it is just common courtesy to not waste anyone's time. Therefore, we do not want selfish players who will cause immature drama or drag raid morale/performance down.

Self-motivated and dedicated players - Players must and should keep up with new game and class mechanics.

Knowledgeable and skilled players - Self-explanatory, but players should not have to be babied or carried through a raid.

What you can expect from us:

A friendly environment that is serious when it comes to raid time.

A diverse player base. We have casual and hardcore elements with most of the guild lying somewhere in between. There are quite a few PvPers in the guild and 10 mans occur throughout our abundant off nights.

Enjoyable raiding. We believe the first step towards a guild meltdown is a raid meltdown. Once raiding becomes an exhausting experience the guild becomes demoralized and inevitably suffers from a decline in attendance and performance. As a result, we keep raiding highly professional. Personal attacks are seen as immature and useless. Yelling at a problem or a person will not solve the problem, instead it will only aggravate tempers and distract players, and by extension, the raid. If there is a problem we encourage all guild members to voice their opinions on the matter - as long as it is constructive. Constructively criticizing a player or giving him advice will help solve a problem much more effectively than yelling at it. Conversely, players must realize when they are criticized it is not meant to directly attack them in a personal matter.
